January journaling prompts

full article on substack!

You don’t have to do these prompts every day. Or in order. Or at all. Skip days, repeat ones you like, or just read a prompt and close the notebook. Some days, journaling looks like a full page. Other days, it’s literally one sentence or a couple of scribbles. That counts. I usually journal either at the end of the day when my brain won’t slow down, or right after my devotional time when something sits with me longer than I expected. However you use this, let it be imperfect and honest. God isn’t asking for polished words, just your real ones.
