Hiiii, happy February! I January felt long and short at the same time lol

You don’t have to do these every day, or in order. Some days I fill a page, and other days it’s one sentence. I usually journal at night when my thoughts won’t slow down, or right after my devotional. God isn’t waiting for polished words. Just honest ones.

  1. Write a thank you letter to Jesus for the past month

  2. What are some goals/ things you’re looking forward to this. month?

  3. How would you rate your time with Jesus?

  4. Write down your current prayer requests

  5. Look for a passage on an emotion of your choice and write it down.

    1. (love, joy, peace, patience, hope etc)

  6. Is there anything distracting you from Jesus?

  7. Honestly, how’s your prayer life?

  8. Is the content I consume leading me to Jesus?

    1. Philippians 4:8
      Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

  9. Favorite bible character (other than Jesus) and why

  10. Do a deep dive on the history and background of a book of the bible

  11. Reflect on your testimony

    1. (how you came to believe) and write it out

  12. Who is Jesus to you?

  13. How can I glorify God in my everyday, ordinary life?

    1. 1 Corinthians 10:31
      So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

  14. Write a love letter to Jesus

  15. What has God been teaching you lately

  16. Write/ pray for someone

  17. Make a list of habits that aren’t glorifying. Give it to jesus and what practical ways can we change?

    1. (phone addiction, gossiping, fantasizing, etc)

  18. What are some of my gifts and talents, and how can I use them for his glory?

  19. How I see myself vs how God sees me

    1. Psalm 139:1–4

    2. Jeremiah 1:5

    3. Zephaniah 3:17

    4. Romans 5:8

    5. 1 John 3:1

    6. Romans 8:15–16

  20. Pulse check: write an honest prayer. How are you feeling?

  21. Areas I need to let go and let God

  22. Using the SOAP method, reflect on Psalms 23

    1. S: Scripture
      Write out one verse or a short passage that stood out to you.

      O : Observation
      What do you notice?
      A word, phrase, command, promise, or question.

      A: Application
      How does this meet your life right now? What is God inviting you to do, change, or remember?

      P: Prayer
      Respond honestly to God about what you read.

  23. Make a list of small moments of joy from the past week

  24. Make a list of people who have yet to know Jesus and pray for them

  25. List things that are weighing down on your heart and give them to God

  26. Write out your favorite verse

  27. Am I honoring God with my life right now?

  28. Go back to day 4 and reflect on your prayers.
